This panoramic photograph of Albuquerque's famous balloon festival was taken by James Blakeway. Every October, Albuquerque hosts an International Balloon Fiesta, ballooning's largest and most spectacular event. During the nine day event, hundreds of balloons ascend in short periods of time, creating a truly spectacular sight.
